Corrupt the the youth

I baked a cake yesterday for my Grandma's birthday so my mom, my uncle and my cousins went over to my grandparent house for cake and ice cream. We were sitting around talking and my youngest cousin, who is 7, came up to me and wanted me to follow her. She led me into the bathroom and wanted me to get her a new bandaid for her finger. I convinced her to use bandage tape instead and we were putting things away in the medicine cabinet and she noticed a bottle of bug spray. For some reason she was excited and asked "Can I take this?" like she wanted to steal it or something. I told her no and that "you don't steal from your grandparents, but steal from strangers." I don't think she heard me but it was just funny. I guess she grows up and starts stealing, I will be responsible.
I did good the night before because we were all in Omaha for dinner and she asked her mom if she could ride in my car back to Fremont. I told her I was going to stop at the store, if that was okay I didn't have a problem with her coming with me. We walked around the store and shopped. She asked if she could get something when I made the mistake of going down the isle with all the toys. I told her she could get something that was $1.99 or less. An hour later, she picked something out. Good lesson learned: My kids wont get to go to the store with me. We had fun listening to the radio, can't help if the only station I can get is hip-hop. She knew most of the songs so she must listen to it anyway. Then she starting going through my purse and putting on my lip gloss and face powder, so she looked all "hookered" out when she got home. I then tried to teach her some Spanish, like I speak it fluently or something! So in the past two days I have probably corrupted her. I think that Education degree I was going for is still a good idea.
