Just another Sunday, I thought!

So here I sit in the hospital emergency room and they are cool enough to have internet! I should probably mention why I am here. Well as I said we have all been sick and my mom has been on a business trip all week. She came home last night and not in the best of shape. She hasn't been able to sleep and is coughing all the time. From what I remember, those were my symptoms when I had phemonia (aka The Brush of Death!) We called the "on-call" doctor and he said to take her to the ER. So here we sit and wait. They only let my dad go in with her...beavers! The ER is also full so there are people with bleeding toes and fingers just hanging out. A kid did all of a sudden faint, which was scary. His mom was freaking out. He of course got to cut in line and go in before the people with bleeding wounds.
Hopefully things go well and she won't have to stay long. My dad did just come out and give an update...We are about up to $1000.00. I guess that means they are doing tests and she is just sitting there. Gotta love HMO's....
