My mom was released from the hospital Saturday morning. I think she would have sneaked out in the middle of the night if they made her stay any longer. She didn't find it funny that I left notes on the marker board in her room that the Dr. had requested she stay an extra two days. Although I did think my pictures of Jasmine when she is sad when mom's not home and then when she's happy when my mom is home helped her get out sooner!
We had to have a company come out and set her up with all her oxygen equipment at home. The guy that came to set it up had obviously not seen a can of deodorant in a couple months. I had to sit in the other room it was so bad. It got better when he got up to leave I saw that he had been sitting on a magazine which was now soaked with booty sweat. Then he was kind enough to leave his paper towels he had been wiping his other body sweat on. I quickly located the Lysol can and hosed down the house. Before he left he goes "I'm going to stand out by my van for a second. If you wonder what I'm doing, I'm just having a smoke. There are too many cans of oxygen in the van, so we aren't allowed to smoke in the van." I'm glad he was able to follow that rule.
